Kernel module compiling with SHR

February 02, 2009

To cross-compile a kernel module for the Openmoko Freerunner, you need to have a compiled kernel source. As I'm using SHR anyways, I decided to build the whole SHR (currently needs approx. 5 GB space, built). Details on this can be found at http://trac.shr-project.org/trac/wiki/Building SHR.

make ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=arm-angstrom-linux-gnueabi-

/mnt/loop/shr-testing/tmp/cross/armv4t/bin:

KVER := 2.6.28-rc4

KSRC := /mnt/loop/shr-testing/tmp/staging/om-gta02-angstrom-linux-gnueabi/kernel
