Best results are achieved with immersion...

For DIY and professional use

Help! Fumes of my etching solution have oxidized my tools. Luckily, help is available in the shelf: Tiger Rost-K.O. (a kind of rust converter). The instructions on the back say: "Best results are achieved in an immersion process". So I filled some plastic tray with the rust converter and put the tools in. One day afterwards, the "best result" became obvious:

Tools in yucky thick black rust converter coating
Best results aree achieved in an immersion process.

Let's not get vulgar here, although it would be more than appropriate - let's just note the interesting fact that following the instructions led to this result! Pretty darn interesting.

Tool with thick gray coating
Almost as good as new!

I gave up rather quickly after trying to clean the tools with a kitchen roll and rubber gloves. In the end, I will have to buy a new set.
